I’m interviewing people for a book on the late-twentieth-century U.S. farm crisis and the political transformation of rural America. Especially looking to talk to people with first-hand experience of farming or farm policy in the 1970s — farmers and their families, organizers, journalists, congressional or USDA staff, anyone close to the events.
